Another GustoMSC P10,000 drillship contract

Houston based drilling contractor Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. has ordered a GustoMSC P10,000 drillship from the South-Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.

The world largest shipbuilder HHI (Hyundai Heavy Industries) recently delivered the GustoMSC designed P10,000 drillship Deepwater Champion to Transocean whilst two similar vessels are still under construction for Greek/Norwegian combination Metrostar/Odfjell.
